Oh my gosh man, come on lol.

I just don't know why people argue against some stuff on here.

Fact - Floyd Mayweather was an exceptionally talented boxer

Fact - Floyd took the liberties that came with being the A side, in the 2nd half of his career, and minimized his risk almost to the point that he was guaranteed to win.

Some of that guarantee was due to his high boxing level, some was due to him holding all the cards.

Why people pick sides, and go all in for that side, is tiresome. There are plusses and minuses for nearly every guy out there. Floyd has some things to critique as well.

Didnt Pac beat thurman at 42? Didnt foreman beat Moorer at 44 or 43? Didnt Hopkins beat so and so over 45? Why cant people ask floyd to do something they dont think he can?
Keith thurman aint Canelo!!!! I think many of us(I know I did) predict a Manny win. Canelo is seen as the 1 or 2 top fighters on the planet. At no point in his career was Thurman ever considered the top fighter or top 5 fighter in the world. Michael Moorer is an idiot. A fight he was winning every round, but decided to stand in front of a guy that was looking for one punch all night. Tavoris Cloud, Pascal, or anyone hopkins beat at 175 were not on Canelo's level lol. On top of that, none of the guys you mentioned were in retirement. You're not ******. You know these things so cut the bull****..

This may be true but it has nothing to do with what I posted. Floyd uses the media to rile up his haters in a way no athlete has.

So you making out nel O is too good, far beyond a thurman or spence? I thought nel O fought cws and got gifts and wasn't improved much since Floyd loss?
ye h Floyd's had fake retirements before, so what. Floyd's only got a controversial green cw win so why not fight nelo? You seriously saying nel O is a bigger challenge for Floyd than anything in history? If that's the case, no problem that's a great reason for Floyd to do it. When rj j fought ruiz, rj j was hoping people thought it was unbelievable once in a lifetime also! Floyd s always had lower expectations and set fights lower, floyd is held to lower standards

He certainly did a great job of that. I'm honestly surprised he had so many haters, as to me it was pretty obvious that he was playing a part often times in order to get attention for his fights.

I've never really disliked the guy. And say what you want, but he faced a lot of good fighters, and never was really hurt, never got dropped really, never got dominated in the ring etc. Very impressive to me.
