Rahman, Toney, Brewster, Byrd, Wladimir, Peter

Really the HW division comes down to these men:

Rahman - I cannot see him taking over, just not consistent
Toney - with Vitali gone, doors have opened for the small Toney, but Wlad still exists...
Brewster - I think the biggest door has opened for this guy and I would favor him to take over...
Byrd - will rest in peace with the "W" over Vitali...and has the ability to "outslap" anyone here but Wlad...
Wladimir - proved something vs Peter and could take over as well as he seemed to have been destined at one point

Then some doors opened for guys like Brock, Tua, Peter

I'm no Klitschko hater but I just don't think Wlad has what it takes. Even though he beat Peter he got KDed twice from a guy who has basically no boxing skills whatsoever. I know one was a bit iffy but the other was legit, and this from a guy throwing one punch at a time.

It doesnt necessarliy matter it he throws one punch at a time, the one punch he lands could be a good one. Maybe he has wat it takes, maybe he doesnt.

Brewster will win the tournament (if King ever organizes one). There is one other guy in the mix, Valuev, but we will have to see how he does against Ruiz in December.

Valuev is a joke. Dont count on him. I think Ruiz will KTFO Valuev.

Wlad loses to Brewster and Toney, beats the rest of this lot in my estimation.

I think that Toney can beat any of these guys...Vitali would have undoubtedly been his hardest fight at HW and now he's gone.

Exactly how many KOs did Ruiz have in his last 10 fights? 2 TKOs. What makes you think he can KO a man that has 100 lb on him?

Not sure about Toney, it would be interesting fight. I do think that he would win over Brewster. He showed that he can get up from knockdowns and doesn't have the problem with his stamina any more. Although I have to say that if Peter had half the speed of Brewster or could land more than 1 punch at the time, Wlad would be out of the picture now.

Yeah, I'm not saying he's not in the running. But I wasn't all that impressed with his performance against Peter, I was expecting him to do better. Well, actually I thought Peter would come out with a little more skill, and once he didn't I figured Wlad should have had him easy. Ah well, we shall see. Certainly I'd like for him to put on a good showing.

Wlad had Brewster in bad shape in their first fight before the tide shifted, and he has shown that he can get up from KD's in that Peter performance.

I think Brewster has improved a lot since that fight, but Wlad has also gained back some confidence. Wlad would really just have to avoid getting caught with anything too nasty, or would have avoid being caught cold in the opening minutes of the fight like Golota did.

Wlad has the ability to be on top of the division now, but like everyone else in the division, he's still a question mark.
