It's a very good fight. Andy Lee is not an elite fighter in my eyes but he is a tough challenge. I think his skills and Steward's gameplan beat Chavez JR any night of the week.

JCC Jr is the one to target. But I assume if he makes the final bell he gets the W. Can't see Lee stopping him. And Lee was outboxed by McEwan. He doesn't seem to have any inside game whatsoever. That might be ok for Wladimir I don't think you can get away with it at 160.

that is his problem - he tries to emulate wladimir too much, when he doesn't hit nearly as hard, nor isn't nearly as strong in comparison to his opposition. . .

but mcewan is a lot better boxer than chavez - MUCH fleeter of hand and foot. . doesn't hit quite as hard, but he's even better than zbik. . .

i think lee hits plenty hard enough to keep chavez from being able to dig in. . and NO WAY chavez can beat him behind the jab on the outside. . .

but chavez will have the judges on his side, so lee might get robbed.

Lee should beat Chavez, especially if Chavez tries to get cute and box like he did against Manfredo.

Chavez's gameplan would have to be similar to the one he had against Zbik....get inside and chop him down with body shots.

Andy Lee is a very solid, underrated fighter IMO though....

I agree. Good fight and I'd love to see it (live). Lee will test Chavez a lot more than Manfredo. I see Julio winning on the cards but it would be close.
