    Light punchers

Do light punchers get a raw deal from judges ?
The fighter I have in mind here is Manuel Medina but there's many more. In almost all his long career Medina threw many more punches than his oponent yet many decisions went against him. I think this is probably true of most light hitters. What do you guys think?

Slapsie Maxie Rosenbloom, Gene Tunney and Muhammed Ali were not really known as truely concussive punchers yet they found favour with judges.

Medina hurt Hamed badly, he had more dig than he is given credit for. Its just that his style was so awkward to watch. He appeared very active but I don't remember his accuracy being that great and he seemed to be forever throwing light rangefinders; which may have had him marked down on ring generalship by judges.
