5,000 is a solid number for a up & comer and all. But Broner has been on HBO several times and was fighting for a title.

Deontay Wilder drew 3,500 in a small town in Alabama fighting Damon frickin' REED with NO national media exposure whatsoever. Not to mention he's the most statistically dominant Heavyweight in the history of the sport. So why is he being hid from the public?

Does Wilder have to act like an ASS and pull cheap ***gity gimmicks to get on TV? Or maybe Emmanuel Steward using his connections with HBO to try to supress coverage of Wilder? I'm sure he knows Wilder's a serious threat to completely derail his gravy train in the near future and will probably pull out all stops to keep the inevitable from happening.

Good news about the crowd. Have to agree with Kim. Why don't we have more boxing matches in DC. I know from the Mayweather press tour with Mosley they had a big turnout in DC and apparently it's a bit of a fight town. No reason fights shouldn't be held there. boxing needs to hold big fights in major cities across the US to give fans and potential fans access, instead of just having fights in the usual spots.
