this sux, he let his fans down from a point, he still didint prove that he was the man, this was the worst time to retire, he shoulda fought rahman, brewster and then beat up on toney and then end his career, but on the other hand his body couldnt take it anymore so it was good move for him, eventhough he let his fans down, now lil bro has to step it up and tare it up....

I doubt any many would be scared or Rahman, with an 8 million dollar payday around the corner. Rahman has nothing to do with it. He retired before the WBC could strip him. He was told a recover would be at least 6 months, without training. You figure that it would be at least by late next year, after training, that he would be able to fight. Once stripped, there would be no way that he could get the belt back without giving King options, something I think he would rather not due.

I do agree that steroids might be what broke his body down, but who knows.

Makes sense. Not to mention Vitali's reputation. I dont think that Vitali would throw that away because Rahman had a punchers chance. He got much criticism, this makes it so much worse. Doubtful that he would let uncertainty of winning do all this. The knee must be pretty bad.

          RAHMAN RAN VITALI INTO RETIREMENT!!!!
i just looked at v-klits record and he aint got a loss to rahman on it.
but he has got a loss to lewis so how anyone can say they were ran
into retirement beats me. v-klit lost to lewis yet i keep hearing that
v-klit was ahead on points. since when were 12rd fights judged, based
on the 1st 6rds.? never. so for me lewis retired because he was old and
had lost most of the desire that made him a 3time world heavyweight champion.

as for rahman running v-klit into retirement, what a joke.
the rock has one worthwhile win on his record and its easy to guess which
one that is. before & after that moment he'd/he's been pretty lame .

dumbass, Rahman ran him into retirement b/c he didn't have any real injuries. He was too scared to fight Rahman. So, once he couldn't weasel out of fighting Rahman, he figured he'd take the easy way out and just quit because he had to fight Rahman or lose the title. Without the title, he was ****. Hell, he was **** with the title. Look at that hilarious PPV figure. Imagine if he can't claim he's a champion and fights some other Corrie Sanders level bum. Nobody could sell that.

You must be Mike Tyson Jr.'s father or something, it's the only logical explanation as to the idiotic comments that the two of you make.

Certain people are more prone to injuries. That's common knowledge in sports medicine. Get off of your steroids kick.

Any person who thinks that Vitali would retire because of Rahman, should seriously consider shock-therapy treatment. Rahman's one noticable victory was over a fat, bloated, out of shape Lewis. Remember what happened once Lewis was in shape?

Why is it that a lot of you can't discuss boxing rationally, you'd rather point fingers and refuse to accept that something you think may not be the truth. Jesus guys, c'mon.

Diego's just upset that his man got knocked the **** out by one punch and is on his way to being exposed again in the near future. He's just trying to rack up points by pissing everyone off lol.

I really don't think that Vitali wanted to fight Rahman. I might be wrong but wasn't he supposed to fight Rahman before he fought Danny Williams but said he had an injury then, but signed the fight with Danny after Rahman got another fight? If that isn't right then someone clear that up for me, I mean cus it looks like Vitali has been running from Hasim for a while to me. And besides that, Danny Williams? C'mon, I don't think it would've been impossible for Vitali to fight one of the other champions. Whether it's truly injuries (which I don't believe) or steroids (which is also likely, he's not an old man), Vitali has disgraced himself and he'll never receive props from me until he does something worthy.

He quit against Byrd and he quits against Rahman outside of the ring.
