May ranking of Mayweather options for May 5

    A+ fight: Pacquiao
    A fight: Martinez
B+ fight: Winer of Margarito vs Cotto
B fight: Khan, Bradley, Robert Guerrero
B- fight: Saul Alvares, Kirkland, Lara, Berto, Mike Jones
C fight: Maidana, Senchenko, Kell Brook, Alexander, Matthysse, Morales

I only give credit for B+ to A+. But B are not bad fights, B- to c are cherry pick in my opinion

Its hard to fight Pacquiao because Top Rank and Pacquiao are running scared

Fight Pacquiao obviously. No excuses and Vacations! Just focus on making the Pac fight. I seriously think GBP are trying to ruin his negotiations with Top Rank by constantly sending out these "alternative" options, because they know they would be left out, in case Floyd negotiates a Pac fight by himself.

No, Pacquiao is better than Martinez. Pacquiao have problems with Marquez but Martinez have many defects that Floyd can take advantage.

            based on what?

i think martinez is highly overrated. i think its crazy to rank him over JMM on the p4p list. dont get me wrong tho, he is a decent fighter, but not as decent as alot of people make out imo.

I don't think that Pacquiao is running, I think Pacquiao is an ignorant person who fights very well, but Arum the master as he wants and he does not know how to handle.

I'm a Floyd fan but I respect Pacquiao

No, Pacquiao isn't A+ competition for Mayweather.

He will easily beat him to a UD.

Fighting Martinez at a higher weight, while Martinez has the size advantage... plus speed and real power alone will be a challenge.

                  Martinez A+

                  Pacquiao A or B+

                    A+: Pacquiao, Martienz at 154
                    A: Martinez at 150-152
                    B+: Kirkland, Bradley
B: Khan, Lara, Cotto-Margarito II winner, Berto-Ortiz II winner
                    B-: Alvarez, Guerrero, Maidana
C+: Brook, Senchenko, Jones, Alexander-Malignaggi winner, Matthysse
                    C: Morales

Pac or Sergio at 154 are both A+ fights. Sergio even at 150 or 152 is an A fight.

Kirkland at 154 and Bradley at 147 are B+ fights. Bradley has fought at 147 before and won (beat previously unbeaten Abregu) and he's top 10 P4P, which is why I put a fight with him ahead of Khan right now. However, if Khan beats Berto, Ortiz, Jones, or Brook at 147 and looks great, I'd have to put him slightly above Tim, unless Tim fights another big fight sometime soon. Kirkland at 154 would be good. We all thought Kirkland may be done, but with Ann Wolfe, he's a force to be reckoned with. He's coming off a huge win over Angulo, one of the most feared fighters in boxing, and is clearly one of the top 2 or 3 SWW in the world (Cotto, Kirkland, Lara, etc).

Khan at 147, Lara, Cotto-Margarito II winner, and Berto-Ortiz II winner are all B fights right now. Khan has never been at 147, which is the only reason I rate it a B and not a B+ or A-. Cotto-Margarito II winner at 154 would good, but not great. They are both past their primes, and Antonio is way past it right now, and Cotto is heading down that road as well. It would be good, because it'd be a SWW title and he'd fight people he was accused of ducking, but they are past it. Berto-Ortiz II winner would be good, but not great. He already beat Ortiz, and was clearly winning the fight handily (out punched him 73-26 in 4 rounds). No need for a rematch. Berto would be good, because both Pac and Floyd haven't fought him yet, but even if Andre beats Victor this time around, I don't think people are going to be running around screaming for Berto to fight May or Pac. If Berto KO's Ortiz and dominates him, I'd rate it a B+ fight, maybe even A-. On the other hand, if Ortiz KO's Berto, I wouldn't mind seeing him fight Pacquiao.

Alvarez, Guerrero, Maidana are all B- fights. All are in their prime but haven't really done anything too big ever or as of late. Alvarez' best win was against a past prime Cintron, Guerrero has done NOTHING at 140 or 147, and Maidana has a loss to Khan and a struggling win over a past prime Morales as of late. Alvarez needs to fight some people like Kirkland, Martirosyan, Cotto, Lara, or even Chavez Jr, and than we can talk a Floyd fight. Guerrero needs to fight some people like Maidana, Rios, Bradley, Ortiz, Alexander, and than we can talk a Floyd fight. Same goes for Maidana.

Brook, Senchenko, Jones, Alexander-Malignaggi winner, Matthysse are all C+ fights right now. Brook, he's in his prime, but has fought absolutely NO ONE. Fight Jones, Khan, Ortiz, Berto, or Alexander, than we can talk a Floyd fight. Senchenko, this guy is a Euro no name, who has a belt. Come over to US soil and fight Jones, Alexander, Ortiz, Berto, or fight Khan and Brook in Europe to get some real respect. Jones, young and prime, but has fought no one. Win the title over Bailey next year, and fight Berto, Ortiz, Khan, Brook, Alexander, to get your name up and people will be ready to mention him if a gets a big win or two. Same goes for the Alexander-Malignaggi winner. After that, fight Berto, Ortiz, or Khan, and really put your name in for a big fight. Matthysse neds to get some big wins. While I am not sure Alexander or Judah beat him, I can't say for sure that he beat them either. Fight some more good people, like Maidana, Brook, Jones, Ortiz, Berto etc.

Morales is a C fight. The only good thing he's done in recent years is a tough hard fought loss to Maidana. That's it. It's sad that rumor was started, truly sad.
