Canelo did not look good last night. He was fighting against a fighter that is either shot or was just in their for a payday cause Cintron showed no heart and wanted the fight stopped from the beginning! I didn't like Chavez jr., but he did show a lot of improvement in his last fight even though Manfredo isn't an "A" list fighter at least he came to fight against Chavez and Chavez was still very impressive imo!At this point I think Chavez jr. beats Alvarez by KO or UD!

Chavez Jr. needs a lot of time and room to operate, he is hardly ever comfortable unless he has his room, he's like Carl Froch in that sense expect a lot worse. Canelo on the other hand doesn't have to resort to that, he can counter from any distance/ angle.

Besides Canelo's patience and minor stamina issues, he looked good last night. I would definitely pick Canelo over Chavez Jr. If anyone needs a new trainer its Chavez Jr.

I still think Canelo whoops Chavez Jr. I know Canelo is very vulnerable, but Chavez ain't good enough to do anything about it, Cotto would destroy him. Margarito would probably give him all he could handle but Canelo is the better boxer.

No, keep his crappy trainer. I don't like the kid, and I don't like how Golden Girl Promotions paid off the ref to stop the Gomez fight when Gomez was beating up on their investment.

Why does anyone want to see Alvarez get better with a better trainer? Then kid got a huge gift against Gomez just because his name is big. It's wrong and disgusting. He was losing to Gomez, and the ref jumped in way too early.

This is precisely how I feel but the fact (so called) boxing fans on this site acts as if it didn't happen is what bothers me more. Don't get me wrong I'm no boxing expert but even the first JMM fight with Top Rank looked rigged, although I do like JMM as a fighter.
