Comments Thread For: Ryan Rhodes Eyes Title: “There's Life in The Old Dog!”

Ryan Rhodes came through his first outing since losing to Saul Alvarez by out-pointing Siarhei Khomitski over eight-threes at Rotherham's Magna Centre on Saturday night. Ryan was stopped in the twelfth and final round of his WBC light-middleweight title challenge to Alvarez in Mexico on June 18th and stripped of the European title when fighting for the world crown as per EBU rules but insists that he can claw his way back into contention.

Think it's too late for Rhodes, should've been getting these fights years ago.

To express my lack of interest.

Its over for Ryan at the World title level.

If he keeps fighting the way he fought vs Canelo he should stop right now and save himself a beating.

he's still good enough for domestic level in Britain. And maybe Europe. So he should carry on (mind u i didnt see what he looked like last night it wasnt on tv)

He wont be anything other than an opponent at world level now though

quite a double negative you gave there

oh, and if he fights like he did against Jamie Moore then a world title is very possible. You know your boxing pal, im surprised you write a man off based on his last performance. Ryan Rhodes might not be 'world class' but in this day and age what does that matter? A world title is possible. He just needs to get his promotional house in order and stop flirting between promotional companies.

Ryan is more than capable of becoming a world champion.

lol why is this ole cue ball head talking about another title shot? he looked straight AWFUL against Canelo, and got that ass sparked out .. . does he honestly think there is interest in him fighting for a world title? REALLY?!

maybe if he reels off another 2-3 in a row. . .
