What's the deal with the refs in Mexico?

Now i thought there were times in the Angulo/Kirkland fight where it should have been stopped, but it made for a somewhat more interesting fight and, at least to me, they were giving Angulo every chance to get back into it.

But last night, Cintron got rocked, got back up, was not listening to the refs instructions, and was barely able to stand much less walk back to his corner. All these things indicated to me that he was done, yet the ref let it continue. Sure he went into survival mode and landed a few clean shots but if Canelo was a little sharper Cintron could have suffered some serious damage.

Just my opinion, take it or leave it.
