Hatton was regarded as the best 140lbs fighter for a number of years he was on most respected P4P lists for a number of years his only 2 loses coming at the hands of the best in an era he beat some great fighters Hatton is not a hype job far from it.Comment

Regarded? Based on what? Beating Tsyzu? Based on his massive fans? Hatton was a hypejob with an incredible fanbase, He had one great fight in his backyard which he wrestled a 35year old to death, He got rated by the same people who just jump on the bandwagon, If Hatton was american he would be just another nobody with a title, Khan has achieve more in 7 years than Hatton had in his whole career, The same Hatton who claimed his WBU is a world recognise title? Yes lovable fella, Great against slow bums with his body-punching but where was his bodypunching when he step it up? Yea didnt exist..Hypejob period.Comment

Unless u r a media sports writer, a boxingscene employee who post as part of your job, or in one of a Big name in the Circle of boxing, your Pac hate's POst will still be a hate Post and would be irrelevant outsibe BoxingScene..

i agree king. they make some of the most deluded comments in here. and they dont care about history or facts. some of the comments really hurt my stomach just make boxing comments based on boxing knowledge not on crap. i have no beef with those that love/support pac. my beef is with those morons that say the most ****** things. just look at check-hooks score card for the pac v JMM and you will understand what im saying.Comment

He became an 8 division champ by beating a guy who you call a hypejob, as well as a bunch of old men, faded champions, and bums.
Some people are calling Pac the greatest of all time and others are comparing him with Moore, Armstrong, and Duran..... despite the fact that for the latter part of his career he will not fight without some kind of contractual advantage or catchweight, and then only against an old faded or damaged opponent.
Manny did not fight a top lightweight, he never fought the top jww's, he has never fought a welter ranked higher than 4, and he didnt even fight a jmw despite winning a title there.
Here is an interesting fact..... despite being credited with having "cleaned out" the welterweight division, Manny has only ever fought 2 welters at 147, one was an old man, and the other was a bum...... neither were ranked higher than 4, and as it turned out, neither should have been ranked in the top 5.
When did he last beat the best guy in his division ?
Who did he beat, that would not have lost to a number of guys in the division they fought?
What has he done that is actually " great " ?
Pacquiao does not compare with Moore, Armstrong, or Duran..... so, *** yes has he been over-hyped..... so the term hype-job, is accurate.
He is a terrific fighter, no question, but there have been many terrific fighters, and dudes tend to throw that word "great" around like its a frisbee.
People are starting to see, but I have been saying this for well over a year.....
