Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya is fully confident that Floyd Mayweather Jr. (42-0, 26KOs) will defeat Manny Pacquiao (54-3-2, 38KOs) if the two boxers ever collide in a welterweight WBO/WBC unification. De La Hoya's company is trying to make a fight between the two superstars for May 5th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The date and the venue have already been set aside, with Mayweather directing De La Hoya's company to make a fight with Pacquiao.
