Just rewatched Cotto- Margarito............

Serious question to everybody. Wouldnt you think if he had cheated that night that capetillo or some one from his team would rush in to take the hand wraps off. I know if that was me thats the first thing i would do instead of letting him go around shaking every bodys hands and possibly being discovered.

It took Nazeem a little while to notice it too. They were practiced at their craft of deception. No, I do not think they would rush to take off the wraps because that would also raise su****ion.

And from the 2nd round on Margarito was in control, yes Cotto was doing better in the 3rd, 4th, 5th, but Margarito had already taken over the fight. Cotto was circling into Margarito's right hand & fighting off of the back foot.

In the 8th & 9th, Cotto actually stood infront of Margarito & enjoyed brief success. In the rematch I think Cotto has to stay inside of Margarito's chest, so the big man can't get any extention.

But the sad part of it all was after the fight & watching Margarito's wraps, right after he kissed his girl & raised his right hand, I saw something strange to me. His wraps were not molded to his hand. It was raised & you could see space between his hand & the wrap. They were hard, check it out again if you have hbo on demand.

I mean no one knows for sure & I've never really payed this much attention to it. But right after he kissed his girl & raised his hand, I didn't see soft wraps, check it out again, I'm sure most will agree.

Margo is not the same guy he was the first time around.

Watch the Pac-Margo fight.

Watch the footwork and lack of upper-body movement.

He's loss something other than his wraps.

He will only look worse coming off that beating and a 13 month layoff.

Exactly and here is what nobody has been able to address or out right refuses Tony was training out of So Cal when he beat Cotto the first time, and So cal is rich in boxing I mean we have gyms all over the ****ing map.

Which means trainers interact with each other etc.... meaning you learn new tricks, take a look at the way Pacquiao did wrap his hands for his fight with Margartio, the stuff he used is all legit gauze and tape its just the method he used to gain that effect.

Never before has Margaritos face swollen up like that before, and in no fight has Manny ever broke facial bone with a single shot like he did with Tony who was the biggest fighter he has faced.

Now knowing this dont you think it would make more sense if your going to cheat to do it the way Manny did rather than put something over your knuckle area that could break your hand? and if there really was plaster for that fight with Cotto it didnt do a god damn thing look at Pacs fight with Cotto in which he had Miguel swollen up twice as much...

what I am saying is here in So cal you see so much **** in the gyms with wraps the style of wrapping at the amateur fights in fact there was one time in which the pad of the knuckle area for my kids opponent felt a little too awkward had them remove the gauze and he basically had gauze rolled up like a cylinder then taped so it was like one piece in which that was inserted and looked legit from the outside but clearly was not, and even then no plaster was needed.

So I dont get where you guys would think its plaster when you really can manipulate the tape and gauze to make it cast like

There was a clash of heads too in the 2nd round. So maybe with was not the plaster wraps that busted Cotto's nose. A few low blows to the hip too from Tony. Dirty bastard.

Not in control from 2 on... He would have won those rounds. He was coming forward and Cotto was trying to fight on the backfoot. Cotto felt he was landed 5 to every one Margarito landed and thought, this is working...not expecting the plaster shots to have an effect. They did...


No plaster Tony will apply pressure, but it won't be the kind of pressure that will freak Cotto out this time around.

Margarito has no quit in him, Cotto does and has done so twice, alls Tony has to do is show up prepaired make it his fight again protect his eye a little better and lay it on Miguel.

Sorry but this is boxing and if there is anything a fan should know, is that coming back from a brutal beat down and winning a rematch like that rarely ever happens in this sport and its not going to happen on Dec 3

I dont like crybabies. No proof of cheating. But keep holding on to that hope. Just like Cotto does. That dude is already mentally defeated.
