STALEMATE !!!

No way to resolve the issue unless Capetillo and Margo come forward with different statements concerning past fights with loaded gloves.

Mine is that Capetillo is the scum bag. He had Margo 40 pounds overweight according to posts 6 weeks before the Mosley fight. He knew of the power of Mosley and Margos style would fit right in so he cheated. HE should never train another fighter and should go to jail for his crimes.

My opinion of Margo is this:

1. IF he cheated , if it was proven that he used loaded gloves then he is a scum bag and deserves jail.

BUT

2. There is NO PROOF and he in my opinion should not be treated like a curdog

3. Why would he cheat ? Curs cheat, they try to bluff there is no bluff with Margo !! Curs quit !! There is no QUIT in MARGO !!

Margo is as game as they come,,,one as game as Margo has NO REASON TO CHEAT !!!

WHY???

Because he has no reason to believe he will LOSE !!!!!!!!!!!!!

MARGO IS GAME !!!!!!!!!

IN all of Margos fights he never QUIT !! Jr wants none of him for that reason in my opinion. Margo takes all you got and then gives you what you don't want.

When Margo fought Pac, did Margo take a backward step to quit or run away,,,NO !!

GAMENESS is the greatest attribute a fighter can have because without it he can be on top and quit.

HE can be down and quit

HE can be behind and quit

IN the top fights he better be game or he won't win.

Gameness can walk you down,,,,take all you got, and make YOU QUIT !!

JR is smart for example: Margo would take all that JR had which isn't much but more flash and then walk him down to smash him. Margo was made for 15 round fights,,,,,oh for the glory days of long ago !!!!!!!

Gameness is about GLORY not CHEATING !!

IN my opinion until some proof that has NEVER been brought forth, Margo is innocent until PROVEN guilty and nothing more than a bad night for him and boxing, the fans.

My biggest thing that won't let me believe he is a cheater is a game fighter has no reason to cheat because he doesnt' believe he will LOSE

Gerbasi, I always looked on you as a respected boxing writer until just reading this article. I stopped at your allegation- completely unsubstabtiated by the way- that Margarito's, or more rightfully Capetillo's, used pad contained substances which when combined with water would transform into Plaster of Paris. it sounds exactly like Doc Kearn's lying story about the Dempsey-Willard fight.

ALL the proper authorities and labs reported officially that the pad contained traces...TRACES... (meaning laboratory detected traces) not quan******, of 2 substances which when combined with something else (was it oxygen and hydrogen in certain ratios") could make Plaster of Paris. BUT....and you further falsify your tale by neglecting to mention, they also said that these components (remember only TRACES) were used in very many other items and commonly used in most cosmetics. (Just think absorbent powder).

Other reports said that they were routinely found in every kitchen in the world.

And you may have,added (although maybe you did, I didn't read on) that the Commission found that Margarito DID NOT KNOW of the used pad, but, because he was "the head of his team" felt it appropriate to give him a one year suspension. (in the USA only). Capetillo was banned for life (but in the USA only) when both bans could have been enforced world wide.

I think, that after all that fuss, they had come to a conclusion that it was just an innocent error, that all there was was a slightly stiffened -from sweat- gauze pad, but, with their own Commission rep having approved the wrap already they had egg on their face. So had to impose a penalty, but made it light. Just a surmise of course, I don't quote rumour and fantasy as fact, like some........

Honestly every single win after his lost to P Williams to me is questionable, you can see clearly the.difference on his.fights.b4 and after that. The way he was knocking down cintron with practically every punch he landed was ridicoulus, then the way he oppened a cut on Cotto with every punch landed too( which werent many) Ive never seen anything like.that ever. Nor Tyson neither Trinidad, and theres the obvious fact that he has looked like just another avarege undercard hole filler on his 3 fights after getting caught. Yes the guy puts relentless pressure and does have one of the most insanely hard rock chins ive seen and these two combined with his height and reach advantage, this will always give him an.edge over his opponents but there is no doubt in my mind that he never had that power that gave him those victories.

Take Angulo for exAmple, the guy is practically Margaritos perfect clone tall, hard chin, continous pressure, hard hitting and still Cintron outboxed him 12 rds and never got hurt. This regarding the people.that say its all bacausetheir styles and how margarito just broke them down with pressure. We ll never know.for.sure.but.the more you look back and compare the more obvious it.gets.

So margarito has cheated in all his fights and no one noticed? BS! Cotto and everybody else have probably done so but didn' t get caught. As for cintron the sissy, he cheats in every fight by hugging and not fighting therefore stealing the fans' money. Maybe paquiao used plaster vs margarito cause cotto was unable to hurt him but the small pac did???

Cintron really lost to Martinez, Martinez was robbed in that fight. Martinez won twice in my opinion, once by TKO and once by Decision(should have gone Martinez's way on the scorecards even if the fight was competitive at time, I felt Martinez controlled the fight alot more to win on the scorecards.)

Now, I don't know if Cintron was cheated against Margarito or not, only Margarito knows who he possibly cheated and who he didn't. Maybe he didn't cheat anyone and maybe it really was his first time against Mosley, no one will ever know unless one day Margarito comes out and says something without the fear of being sued or anything else.

I agree with you about the Martinez fight. The author wrote that "it's forgotten that cintron got a draw with Martinez" no what the author forgot is that Martinez was robbed twice in the same fight.
