Neither of them are his bosses, they work FOR him. He does not work for them.

Floyd is a Haymon fighter, as in he uses Haymon as his adviser. Schaefer talks on behalf of Floyd, he is the CEO of GBP, DLH is the owner of that. Ellerbe is the Mayweather Promotions CEO, Floyd is the owner of that.

I know it's a bit complicated for you to understand, but Floyd pays these guys to work for him...not the other way around. Bob Arum is a boss, yet he has Todd DuBoef and others working for him, does that mean they are Arum's boss?

I doubt the sequel will live up to the original.

They are only in the ring with Haymon's fighters, I'm sure they'll be in the ring on Showtime as well...

I will always prefer HBO over showtime because i know i dont have to see MMA advertisements during my boxing.

wrong. . . floyd signed a 3 fight co-promotional agreement with golden boy. . . THEY were CUTTING HIS CHECKS. . .they were guaranteeing him money to fight their stable of fighters. . . ortiz was the last fight of that agreement . .

floyd got his checks cut by oscar. . .

floyd had to fight who they wanted. . . had he foight manny, they would have got a cut of the money. . . NOW, however, that agreement is up. . . so that's why he MIGHT fight manny now. . .

you see, floyd was broke going into the marquez fight and could no longer afford to put the money needed to promote on his half. . . he did this for the hatton fight, and some for the oscar fight (not much, though - oscar got like 75% of the revenue). . .

it's all a business - once fighters have been in teh game long enough they think exactly like a promotor - give me a guy who will make the most money, the easiest way possible. . .

Great news. I had previously cancelled Showtime. But it looks like I'll be getting it again around January. Really surprised that HBO didn't at least match the Showtime offer.
