Lomachenko is the truth, unfortunate he's already had multiple surgeries on his left hand. Been following him since 07. Style made for pros with few tweaks here and there, he's actually right handed.

On a side note he is not the best pound for pound amateur of all time. That title goes to Mario Kindelan and if not, guillermo rigondeaux.

Compare vasyl's resume (which I know by heart, followed him since 07 and am a big fan) to Kindelan's resume:

      Olympics
      Gold 2000 Sydney Lightweight
      Gold 2004 Athens Lightweight

      World Amateur Championships
      Gold 1999 Houston Lightweight
      Gold 2001 Belfast Lightweight
      Gold 2003 ****kok Lightweight

      Pan American Games
      Gold 1999 Winnipeg Lightweight
      Gold 2003 Santo Domingo Lightweight

      Central American and Caribbean Games
      Gold 1993 Ponce Lightweight
      Gold 1998 Maracaibo Lightweight

Kindelan is retired and Guillermo is a pro fighter. I was talking about the current P4P best amateur fighter.

If that is true, it's truly incredible. When I first heard/read it, I couldn't believe it but when I saw this video clip, it might be true.

                nice post.

kid looks to be the goods.

any word on his age and height/weight? not sure if i heard it in the video

once they get him to the pros they should move him up to decent level journeymen quickly and see what he can do. no cans for this kid. at least not for long

He was fighting as a featherweight (125) until recently this year as he moved up to lightweight (132) at the World Amateur Championships where he won gold and he's 5 '7. As for his age, he's 23 years old.
