    1) That's a really foul thing to say.

    2) At his age Arum probably isn't expecting anymore children.

without a huge following its hard for Martinez to demand anything from Top Rank, especially Top Rank...

If Arum makes that fight I wonder at what weight he'll make it. At 158 or is that only for Golden Boy fighters...

That's why Arum would love that fight to be made so he can reap the benefits of Chavez Jr losing to another TR fighter. I'm sure that would be much better for Arum instead of him losing to Martinez.

So you'd rather see a fighter lose then see a competitive fight...I don't get that kind of hate for any fighter

Plus why are you singling out Chavez....every fighter in that division is doing that, plus cotto is a great fight for him

You guys seem to ignore that Cotto WANTED this fight... All tho I think Chavez at this time would simply be way too big for Cotto, I'd assume he thinks he can outbox him.

Fact of the matter is, the only person who should have a say in Cotto fighting JCC jr, is Cotto himself. If Cotto wants it, then by all means give it to him, however unintelligent it may seem to me. He's a blown-up JMW while Jr. will most likely not go below 160. WTF is 160 lbs gonna look like on Cotto's 5'7 frame? Nobody should ***** if Cotto doesn't fight Jr. Forget about how much you think Jr. sucks, because that's simply irrelevant. JCC Jr/Cotto is just as bad a match-up as Jr./Martinez. I do not wanna see a WW vs. SMW, cuz in essence that's what it is. Who gives a **** if it is seemingly a "competitive" fight? I can't even believe some of ya'll are trying to justify it too. If Chavez Jr. doesn't wanna fight other legit MWs, then **** him. There are plenty of MWs to fight, it's just that this mutha****a Arum wants to keep all the money in house. He has no other MW with a name, so he wants Cotto to fight him. Jr. gets no credit from me if he beats Cotto, plain and simple.

Their mutual promoter, Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum, is willing to get the fight done - if Cotto demands a Chavez clash, which the two boxers previously discussed for the tail-end of 2010 but the bout never took place.

                Dirty Bob, at it again.....

Arum you ***go7, what about your recent comment stating that you never work on Manny's next opponent when he has a fight signed?

I mean, we know that you did, every single time that Manny had an opponent on his dance-card you had the next guy waiting in the wings.

                What about Chavez' mandatory ?

Aaaah ok, the best opponent for both Cotto and Chavez just so happens to be a Top Rank fighter, wow, what a coincidence.

Are you really not dead yet ?

Of course, there is still some life left in Manny, so you will not be prepared to feed him to Mayweather yet, but do you really have to wring the life and soul out of your fighters just to squeeze out every last red cent?

                Still..... praying for that bus.

Jr simply cannot come in under 160. So many other fighters at 160 and all they want is a smaller fighter. Jr only advantage is comming around 180 at fight night. Dude is a joke and Arum heading the charge
