Wlad was the aggressor from start to finish. He was the pressure fighter and was coming forward the entire fight.

Wlad was not pressure fighting. There is a difference between coming forward and being aggresive. Wlad was fighting on the front foot but was still defensive. I would not call Wlad's display masterful, Wlad struggled to land the jab all night (but landed enough to win clear) and couldnt get any offensive work going. Both Wlad and Haye shut eachothers offense down but Haye has no jab and wlad does, thats what won Wlad the fight.

Sadly, you're wrong. You're looking at their stances and seeing that Wladimir has the more technical and fundamental stance, and assuming that makes him the better fighter.

How about looking at the rounds given up and compubox statistics. Vitali has proven to be the superior of the two both in defense and in offense. He gets hit far less and this is WITHOUT CLINCHING, he also lands much more leather, and at a higher percentage, while throwing a TON more punches. He's averaging close to 80 punches a round, even the little men of the boxing world don't do this.

Wladimir has boxed the much better opponents.

Vitali quits against Byrd and quits in 2005 while Wladimir fights his way back to the top.

For me Wladimir is the superior of the brother, better Champion, better sportsman and better character.
