Cotto's body/lungs gave out... not his heart. From round 2 on to 11 he was fighting with a busted nose and drinking his own blood... Looks to me like he was trying to get an 8 count and get some air into his lungs when his corner threw in the towel. Cotto is not the type to b*tch about his corner throwing in the towel at least not publicly.

Dec. 3rd... the night of the soft gauze...

Now THIS is what I have been wanting to hear from Cotto.

Really Margo, so it sounds like Cotto is " scared ", huh ?

Thats right, you just keep telling yourself that.

I would be hitting him low all night long, and only stop at the second warning.

If I was well-ahead by halfway, I would intentionally hit him low until a point was deducted, and when I say low I am not talking about the belt line, I would be trying to drop him with every shot until the point deduction came.

That would be a major part of my gameplan for this fight.

This will be a bloody fight! Margarito will come forward with high guard defense and on relentless attack mode. Cotto will be using his boxing skills. Cotto should not tire and he needs to hurt Margarito to gain respect.

Will be sad if (when?) Cotto loses, the world wants him to win.

Serious question (as I didn't start following boxing until 2006)...

When was the last time two fighters who hated each other got together in a high-profile match-up?

                    Morales-Barrera?
