Cotto shouldn't be saying this. I wouldn't wish blindness on anybody, even an accused cheater like Margarito who could have ended my life. Sure he will hit the eye plenty of times, but to come out and say that he will target it specifically with bad intentions knowing full well that it can lead to permanent loss of sight is not something I expect from Cotto. He can end the fight through the body, and then I would respect him even more since he showed mercy and took the higher moral ground, which I always imagined Cotto as the type of man who would, but now I'm not so sure.
And before anybody says that Margarito had bad intentions to permanently damage Cotto when he fought with loaded gloves (I'm leaning towards Antonio knowing fully well what was in his wraps, how could he not feel it?), sure an eye for eye may seem like sweet vengeance, but I would much prefer Cotto to show that he can beat Margarito without having to capitalize on a handicap that was not there in the first fight.

Really Margo, so it sounds like Cotto is " scared ", huh ?
Thats right, you just keep telling yourself that.
I would be hitting him low all night long, and only stop at the second warning.
If I was well-ahead by halfway, I would intentionally hit him low until a point was deducted, and when I say low I am not talking about the belt line, I would be trying to drop him with every shot until the point deduction came.
That would be a major part of my gameplan for this fight.

I look forward to seeing Margoputas wife crying this time once that eye pops out and rolls right into her lap. Perhaps, she should have soccer goalie gloves to catch it.

According to the doctor... Tony's eye is actually "stronger" than it was before because of the broken bone. Just the way it is..

Cotto is suppose to show mercy??..NOT A CHANCE!!..
A) Cotto doesn't know for a fact that Margarito cheated, but the odds aren't in favor of Margarito, only him and his lover-boy stans believe he didn't, and still don't hold him accountable for what was found in the Mosley fight.
B) You show no mercy in a Boxing Match, Margarito was cleared by top Dr's to be ****** up and withstand the damage inflicted in a Boxing match.
Margarito didn't show mercy (plaster or not) when Cotto's face was a bloody mess and he kept ripping uppercuts and even hit Cotto while he was down. Cotto is out for revenge, for the plaster ordeal, for taking his first loss, and for talking all the shit that Margarito has been talking.
Cotto should **** that body and left hook directly to that eye. PERIOD.
