Though a pair of articles last week suggested otherwise, Jermain Taylor’s comeback foe on Showtime on Dec. 30 is still Jessie Nicklow.

Fernando Guerrero stopped this guy in 4 rounds. If Taylor can't make Nicklow his first KO in 7 years, then he may need to reconsider his comeback.

I understand he has been out of the ring for a while so needs rounds, but he also needs a KO in order to get his swagger back.

I would have prefered El Indio. Added a liitle name value to the comeback. Poor JT, that chin is so suspect now. I'm rootin for him though. Won't put any money on it though.

very weak guy for JT but can't expect more w/his chin & partially scrambled brain...JT's a death wating to happen & should have his license taken away permanently...

you dont have a god damn clue what you are talking about. JT doesnt have a weak chin first of all, he was stopped twice on fatigue and a thrid time knocked out by one of the biggest punchers in the sport. he has an average chin, it isnt good or bad. idk why fighters are either iron jawed or glass jawed according to some "fabns" like theres nothing inbetween. JT has been stopped 3 times but look at the circumstances.

the death thing is plain ******ed. knockouts dont cause deaths and serious injurys, decisions do. those long physical fights where a fighter takes loads of punishment without being finished (or being finished late). JT didnt take above average amount of punches in any of the fights hes been stopped and looking at his career overall he hasnt taken alot of life threatening damage (long and grueling fights).

margarito, cotto, marquez bros, izzy vasquez, pacquiao, williams etc. those are guys who would be in danger. and if you look at a guy like williams its not the savage KO loss to martinez thats dangerous, its his long grueling fights where he took lots of punches but stayed on his feet like against lara and the first martinez fight.
