Comments Thread For: Chris Arreola: I Want Wladimir Klitschko, Adamek Rematch

Heavyweight Chris “The Nightmare” Arreola was recently on BoxingScene.com’s official audio show The Boxing Lab to discuss his career and possible future opponents. There have been talks about a possible fight with WBO/IBO/WBA/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko for next year. That fight is at the top of Arreola’s list as he rather fight him than anyone else.

He needs to knockout Adamek first. If he can't do that, he has no chance against Wladimir.

Thread dismissed!!! The shellacking he got from Vitali still gives him 'nightmares'. Another piece of evidence for the haters who think Vitali has 45 non repeat customers for nothing.. once you go Vitali... you''ll go Klitschko again but only if the moniker says Wladimir.

The guy should fight Adamek, maybe with his new "not so fat" body he can be faster and actually beat Adamek. If he does it, he should go after Povetkin or fight some guy like Fury (if he isn't knocked out before) and avoid Wlad, the ukranian hits even harder than Vitali and most likely would KO Arreola

Arreola/Adamek rematch is only thing that makes sense now. But not sure Adamek would give Arreola a rematch unless he is forced.

                    The Racket Squad: Heavyweight Illusions

His recent competition displays a willingness to get in better shape but not risk a true challange. Chris wishes to cash in with the same cats who took him to school. I can't blame him. The division is shallow right now.
Fight Mike Grant Chris. He's earned it.
Therefore, all things being equal, both Russians will always beat him. Tomas will be victorious in a rematch as well. He is the third best Heavy right now.
Chris is simply not a first rate big man. Dreams die hard.
Sorry. As Manfredo recited last week, "I guess I'm just not an HBO fighter.'
