Marg needed to change his style for the pacquiao fight, pressuring was never going to work with someone like pac who throws a ton of punches. I see Garcia getting praised sometimes but I have yet to see him do anything that special. Hes also to blame for having Tony almost lose his eye, everytime he would go to his corner and give Tony instructions he sounded like an idiot. He should have thrown in the towel.

Its the trainers duty to look after the safety of his fighter, I know Margarito is all heart and never quits but that was the most brutal beatings hes ever taken, I don't care how pissed he would be, if that was my fighter I would have stopped it. I'm not worried about the eye one bit. I'm more worried about the ref, judges, Cotto running pot shotting to win and like I said Margarito not being reserved one bit.

Look at Margarito, he's one of the hardest trained boxers in the world. His stamina is hard to match. You don't find that "athletic"?

Better gameplan or not he couldnt hurt Pacquiao at all and his size ended up being a liability for him. On top of that is was Pac who looked like he had the reach advantage. Even Roberto Garcia was boxing Margarito effectively and making him look silly and featherfisted at times.
