Hatton pre Tzsyu was unstoppable, he would take ay amount of punishment. More than what Rios could give. Hatton cuts Rios in half with hooks and uppercuts to the body

i agree on rios being overrated. good action fighter but acosta and antillon are nothing special. i was impressed with the peterson win though. i wasnt familiar with rios at the time and thought it was a peterson showcase fight. but overall, he's untested.

But so is Hatton, imo. Don't think he stopped many fighters as good as Rios is now. Tsyzu and Castillo, were really good but both past their best days.

Nice shout with this fantasy match up. I have only seen a little of Brandon Rios and he does remind me a lot of Ricky Hatton in more ways than one.

In 2005, Ricky was in his prime and he would have beaten Brandon Rios with experience alone. It is unfair on Brandon because we have yet to see him in a even match up.

I am just mad that he is fighting Murray instead of Mitchell. It just shows you how Frank Warren loves to keep his fighters in England. As much as the Hearns annoy me, they have taken their fighters from nowhere to the big stages in America within a year. Frank Warren will inevitably lose Degale and Groves if they are stuck in London fighting a bunch of journeymen whilst they see the likes of Macklin, Barker and Brook in big fights across the pond.

Tsyzu was past his prime when he fought Hatton? You can not be serious. Hatton was a MAJOR underdog when he fought Kostya and Kostya was in the form of his career up to that point. In hindsight everybody is a genius and they come out with the most ridiculous claims but where were all the doubters before that fight too place?
