Well, I got a response from the WBC. I'm surprised the actually bothered to respond. Take it for what it is worth:

      --------------------

      Dear Mr. Price:

Indeed The WBC is Sorry for What ever information source edged you to write your Kind E-mail. There for, here is a synthesis of the official position to be posted soon In an exclusive advance only for True Fans like you because we are sure that only some one, that just like us, truly loves Boxing could ever get so upset with the recent events in the Heavyweight division.

      November 8, 2005

      From Jose Sulaiman head office.

The World Boxing Council regrets the postponement of the Heavyweight world title fight between champion Vitali Klitshcko and interim champion Hasim Rahman, due to a knee injury that Klitschko suffered. I am sure Vitali and Hasim share the same frustration feeling.

The WBC has granted Klitshcko one week for medical exams which include an exam at the UCLA by Doctor Gerald Finerman. Chief of UCLA Orthopedics, and Medical Services for the sport teams of this University; he is also the President of the Scientific Committee of the WBC and has been the medical adviser of the WBC for 20 years. Doctor Finerman served as well as Technical President of the First World Medical Congress organized by the WBC and it will also be it for the Second World Medical Congress that will take place in Acapulco Mexico from May 10th to May 14th 2006

After checking Klitschko physical condition, the WBC will take this information to its Board of Governors so that they analyze it and for majority vote get to a decision.

The WBC has not yet arrived to a definitive decision in this matter.

I made some declarations about the possibility of the WBC to accept a proposal for 30, 60 and even 90 days, but it has been absolutely rejected by the members of our Board of Governors who have already been contacted. They think that the postponement would be acceptable only in the event of a light injury that would allow Vitali to be ready so that this fight can take place in the following 60 days.

Vitali has an appointment with Doctor Finerman this week and we trust he will attend.

I expect the Board of Governors decision immediately after the results of the medical exams are released.

This shows that they are actually getting our emails, so keep sending them in people.

        info@wbcboxing.com

And all these people saying King this and King that, the bottom line is that King would deliver us a unified champion. All those dissing King so heavily, you're just plain wrong. If there were another real heavyweight contender, he could become the mandatory in multiple bodies, do like Tarver did and call out the champ, etc. There's this ****** semi-racist based myth that Don King will ruin the heavyweight division if he has all the champs. That's just ******. Ali, Tyson, Holyfield, Holmes, Foreman, etc etc. Look at all the heavyweight champions that really mattered and who was behind most of them. I guess all those guys had hand picked opponents all the time and had no important matches.

Seriously, Vitali won't even fight Hasim Rahman, which let's face it, Rahman isn't the most feared guy at heavyweight by any stretch of the imagination. Vitali has pulled out 4 times to avoid him. Imagine what he'll try when they try putting him against someone even more feared than Rahman. No real champion would be scared of Rahman. Say what you will about Ruiz, he didn't duck opponents. None of King's men have pulled out of fights 4 times.

King is in boxing for the bottom line, for the money. That's no secret. You're crazy if you think he doesn't want to make the biggest fights. If boxing is hurting, King is hurting.

As far as the WBC goes, as long as they keep up such bull****, everyone is sweating them. But know what? That Rocchigiani guy supposedly almost made the WBC bankrupt. It is only a matter of time before they get slapped with another lawsuit. Maybe someone from this heavyweight fallout, I wouldn't be surprised. Another good lawsuit would put them under.

I respect your enthusiasm rearding the matter, but really what ever happens is gonna happen.Vitaly should definetly be stripped, and I actually like Vitaly when he fights, but this **** has gotten ridiculous ,but what IM getting at is, is Rahman getting the belt wont mean **** either.A HW Tourney will happen eventually obviously, but Don king is just going to milk the **** for all its worth anyways,He'll still own the HW king, and that HW will be out of the same crappy litter,so is this email thing really worth the effort?

What effort? Its no more effort than posting on a boxing forum. Is posting on a boxing forum worth the effort? Apparently I think so. Making yourself heard, at least you can say you tried.

See, that's a Klitschko way of thinking, why bother trying. Cause he's not a warrior. No heart. Definitely not the champion, a hero. The difference in a hero and a coward, my man, its apparent with Vitali which one he is. I remind you of Cus D'Mato's famous quotation:

So if we try emailing the WBC and nothing happens, BFD, that's what I expect anyhow. But, say I do and they do something, which apparently they've done something by going down to 60 days instead of 90 days. Was it because of our emails? Probably not. But, the emails definitely don't hurt the cause. If you don't send them and do nothing, then there is no chance of making a difference. That spans beyond just this. It is something to live by.

My email to the WBC generated a "form" email saying something like "THE WBC HAS RECEIVED YOUR EMAIL AND WILL BE SOON PREPARING A RESPONSE".

Maybe this is an automatic message that's necessary to handle the shwack of emails they've received?

"Heroes are average people, who do amazing things to show they are worthy of the confidence that others have shown in them".

                This doesn't not fit Vitali.

You actually think they're going to strip a guy because some random people on the internet told them to?
