Mosley and Williams held a lot, something Cotto has never done and has said he doesn't do. Pacquiao beat Margarito with movement and speed, busting up his face with quick combos and getting out of trouble. Cotto is neither of these, he does not hold, he's not fast, his movement sucks...but like you said Tua, Cotto will beat him because it's Margaritos downfall.

Margarito is in a worst state than Cotto, and Cotto is more of a mental thing. In the Pacquiao fight he quit in the 6th round but I guess just stayed there to say he stayed there. Margarito actually stayed there to try to fight. That's diff with Cotto and Marg, heart, not plaster of paris. But i'm afraid Margarito is done. He got the heart and chin, but no power, I don't think he's strong, he just looked so weak recently against even that journeyman he fought in between Mosley and Pac.

plus with cotto's stamina...... holding/clinching marg might make him tired faster no?

the thing i'm worried about with cotto (aside from stamina) is the mental thing.

he has himself convinced that marg had plaster.

what if marg hits him and he feels that he hit as hard as last fight?

would he think "omg maybe he didn't have plaster last time out?"

that could hurt him mentally.
