Who the **** are you? The attitude of some of the posters on here is a joke. In case you weren't aware, Ricky Burns is a Scottish boxer who just comprehensively beat Michael Katsidis (the same guy who went tooth and nail with Marquez a year ago, even knocking him down in the process). He also happens to be Marquez's WBO mandatory, therefore has earned his shot at the belt. I don't even consider people like you a proper fan of the sport, since you clearly have such a negative attitude towards its brave combatants. If you'd have read the article, you would've seen that Burns said it'd be an 'honor' to fight Marquez, he is a respectful challenger to the full world WBO title, and just because he isn't as high-profile as Marquez doesn't mean he should just be stonewalled. He's earned his shot at the belt. If Marquez doesn't fight him - for whatever reason - Burns gets the belt. Oh and one last thing: f uck you

I agree with what you have to say in response to the dude asking who he is but, don't try and discredit Marquez by saying he was put down and burns didn't . Marquez stoped Katsidis , Burns just boxed and got the win.plus he ran and covered up the last three rounds.
