I think castillo cos the 1st fight took too much out of diego. win or lose castillo is not a fighter to go to war with more than once.

    workrate... pressure... power...

            Castillo again.

Even though Corrales pulled out the first fight I believe Castillo was starting to really come on from the 8th round to the 10th. He was beginning to take over in the fight before getting caught.

In the second fight Castillo came with a better gameplan and just simply out fought Corrales every step of the way. He was better from both the inside and outside in the rematch. People blame the weight but they should really see how much better Castillo was compared to the first fight.

All the people who still believe Corrales can outbox Castillo just need to give it up already. He only boxed with one guy which was Casamayor and it still was close. Castillo's jab is better, his righthand is better from the outside and his lefthook is better from the outside. Castillo is technically overall better than Corrales.

The weight fiasco in the last fight has not left anyone asking to see a third fight. Diego should continue at 135, against guys that make weight. Castillo needs to decide if he can ever fight at 135 again, or stay at 140.

If there were a third fight at 135, and Castillo doesn't cheat his time,
I would still pick him because he made adjustments and Diego did not.

There would be some irony if Castillo fights next at 140, his opponent comes in over the limit, and KO's him. What goes around, comes around.

I'm not saying the weight made a difference or not but the weight didn't make Corrales leave himself wide open for that lefthook. He made the same mistake twice and he was dropped both times. The second time he just didn't make it up in time.

                  Good post!

Castillo constantly tried to get some distance in the rematch with Chico and it was chico who was trying to make it a phone booth fight.

Castillo landed the left hook at will from distance (at least 30 lefts)...I hope finally once and for all people will shut the **** up about Corrales outboxing Castillo!

I pick Castillo to win no matter what weight. However, I think that these guys should wait a year or so to fight again, since Castillo-Corrales II was somewhat of a letdown.
