Cotto's Arguments

The answer is simple, plaster of paris takes about 4 rounds to covert into a cement like substance. Then, I don't care who you are, you are going to get rip apart every time you get hit by them. Margarito is a punching bag and can take punches well, unless you go to the body like Mosley did. Lets be realistic and look at history of those boxer that cheated and also look at their victims. Then come back in here and make a sensable comment. I believe Cotto's arguments are just and he was not the first victim of Margarito's Cheating tactics.

Again... The black thread does NOT mean the wraps themselves were legit/legal. Was it plaster? Was it stacking? who knows... but we DO know that Margarito was caught doing something fishy in his next fight AND suspended for a year. Arum did NOTHING to fight the suspension. He knows somehow...somewhere there was some cheating taking place with regard to the wraps.


You can now resume talking about how Tony is innocent of loaded wraps because a piece of thread on his loaded wraps proves the wraps were not loaded.

Margo made a block out of the gauze with plaster inside. His trainer put dry plaster on the gauze then folded it over and put more plaster on the gauze, then folded it over and so on and so on. Then his trainer placed the block across Margo's knuckles and finished wrapping with more gauze.

Once MARGO began to sweat, the plaster would get wet and then get hard. By the time of the fight, it was rock hard. He was caught and should never be allowed to fight again. It was like fighting with brass knuckles.

Black thread...Marg still cheated..

I'm not a fan of either fighter at this moment. I was deff a fan of Margarito before the cotto fight. The way he stopped cintron twice, he beat clottey, martinez. I cant remember the other guy but he knocked his ear clean off his head in the ring. To top his career off he stopped Miguel Cotto who was undefeated and one of the best welter weights at that time.

Marg went from top of the world to getting his is ass beat by Mosely and Pac after his plaster was taken away. Since that night before the mosley fight Margarito hasnt had that same SNAP on his punches...he isnt a shot fighter, he can still take a punch but come on..

No way in hell Pac should have beaten that tall strong mo fo unless it was the wraps or pac is on roids....one of the two. And since they say pac is clean it has to be the wraps.

Cotto wins this next fight..
