The jab is the most important punch in boxing. I hate when people don't give the jab credit and don't count it as a punch. Mayweather was jabbing marquez all night too easy. He didn't stand and wait to counter all night. Watch the fight over again and you will see mayweather landing 290 punches to juan's 69 punches. Single digit connects for marquez in every round. I still love marquez but, to get hit with 26 jabs in one round is ridiculous. My point a jab is an aggressive punch and could be use as a counter punch so watch the fight it was not boring. A BOXING MASTERPIECE.........

jmm even got out counterpunched by pacquiao in the 3rd fight.
on the occasions when jmm did take a risk, pac destroyed him with the counter right hook and won 116-112.Comment

Are you serious? Can we talk real boxing here? Seriously, no name calling or anything. Im just going to state some facts. Mayweather weighed in at 146. Marquez at 142 right. Assuming, juan went up to 150 for pac fight, so I would say 2 years ago a younger marquez would came up to 148 maybe. Mayweather has never been higher than 154 for a fight so where did you get may outweighing marquez 20 pounds from. Then, its ok for pac opponents to outweigh him 15 to 18 pounds but, not marquez opponents. Even the commentators said it during the fight that Mayweather outmatch marquez in skill and speed thats what he use to bust his ass not weight. I could go on and on and diss all pac opponents I won't do that. Love boxing as a whole enjoy what you see now because you dont know if we will have great boxers 5 years from now.
