IMO, he started to drink the same Kool-Aid Arum is selling and was surprised that JMM was very competitive.

He needs to relinquish his congressional seat for the Floyd fight and focus 110%.
He can run for Governor next election after the Floyd fight.
He can run for President once he is out of Boxing completely.
