Why do some people hate Pacquiao?

I know I'm opening a can of worms here, but I don't get it. Whether he's an ATG or not is a wholenother thing, but how can anybody deny he's a great fighter? Do people get tired of coming up with excuses for why everthing he's ever accomplished isn't legit?
Is it just because they want to show solidarity to their guy who shall remain nameless in this evergrowing ******er war of words between the so called fans of both fighters? It is possible to be fan of both you know.
Not saying the dude's an angel or anything, just that he deserves basic respect he doesn't get from a lot of you.

I dont hate Pacquiao he is just overrated , he gets credit for Catchweight fights , beating old fighters , weight drained opponents etc..

The way I see it, your just seeing a whole lotta disappointment in him. Everybody from Pac-tards to *****s wanted to see Manny truck JMM to build up for the big fight we thought we'd get in May. But Manny's performance killed most of that, and now people realize they've been scamed as far as the whole, "He's a totally different fighter than he was in 2008" thing is concerned, and now all we're left with is Pac vs JMM 4 at 144.5 and May vs TBA and it SUCKS.
