Oscar De La Hoya would run boxing like Dana White........

if he wouldnt have to deal with bob arum and top rank..

dana white makes the fights people want without all the bull**** while over here we dont and that is the number one argument most fans of ufc say all the time.... i always get that question, "how the hell havent those two guys fought??"....

oscar was just on espn (nacion_espn) talking about wanting to give people the fights they want but they cant and called out arum on it... arum on the other hand doesnt give a damn what people want

Arum is a fan-ignoring scum, no doubt about that. But Oscar doesn't entirely have a squeaky clean either. Canello is SUPER overprotected, and they refuse to give guys like Molina Lara bigger fights when they earn them. And GBP let's Floyd call the shots too much. He's not supposed to be the boss.

Something Dana white said that was depressingly true is that "boxing promoters don't invest in the sport, they're in it for themselves". So true when you look at how there's vertually no boxing merchandise, while ufc has dvds, toys, trading cards, you name it.

Both Boxing and UFC have +'s and -'s. Although I think Boxing can learn more from how UFC is operating I find it impossible for Boxing as a sport to change in the way how UFC works currently. Too many sanctioning bodies/belts to even make that happen.

I mean imagine that the #1 fighting the #2 guy or no Pac/May negotiation bull****. It's funny though cause even how corrupt boxing is MMA fighters will never come close to what the fighters like Mayweather/Pac make.

People are brain washed. Dana controls a monopolized company. His guys fight the best fighters in the UFC, a promotional company, when MMA is the sport.

People say Arum only does in-house fights, but Dana is 10X worse. People are simply brainwashed and 90% of the people think UFC is a sport.

Well Dana has unified with Pride in the past but you are right they should have ALL MMA fighters fight each other

            $$$$$$

This is what Arum has in his eyes.

And he will go through extra lengths just to make sure Pacroids can steamroll to the top

The UFC is everything that wrong with boxing

Imagine having a Top Rank World Champion or Golden Boy World Champion, because thats exactly what the UFC is doing but people are too dumb to realize

They've established a NFL or NBA for a combat sport. The only downplay is they terribly underpay their fighters. Boxing could learn a lot in terms of match making from them though.

oscar doesn't have multi billionaire cronies to buy out his competition.

dana white is a completely tactless blowhard who is extremely lucky.

Yea pretty much and they do. Boxing cannot do that because there isnt 1 promotion holding a monopoly over the business. In the UFC, Dana gives them a choice, fight for me for 50K or go fight else where for less then half that. IN boxing you just go from Top Rank to GBP or vice versa.
