Chavez Jr showed Groth last night!

Chavez Jr two fights ago looked like some one who never should have been in the ring. Last night showed hes been working hard and its paying off. The kid showed boxing skills and a few glimps of his father last night. If he stays on this track he could be the future of the jr middle weights. His punches were crisp and that left hook to the body was perfect. I guess the apple doesnt fall far from the tree after all! lol Chavez jr vs Peter Fight below!

    not really
    Chavez always shown some skill
but he hasn't fought anybody really good
so what if he beat Manfredo?
stoppage was a little quick, and Manfredo was starting to heat up
so so win, but now he must step up
actually think he can beat Alvarez
    but Martinez would smoke him

He showed poise, and the abilty to stick to the game plan!. His conditioning will improve aswell, by being calm your able to breathe alot better. His punching power is there also, it will also improve as his timing gets better. I said he could be the future not by just boxing abilty along. Theres alot that went into me saying that.

He has the reach and height, to make it hard for anybody at that weight. I see there learning how to keep distant and use his reach from the outside. Having those big shoulders and big neck also means strength and being able to take a shot on the chin. Not to mention if he has that typical Mexican heart like his dad. So you see this guy has alot going for him.

I almost forgot, he also has his dad who has a wealth of experince to help him. This kid has alot of advantages, on top of being young and promoted by top rank, who knows how to managed and protect thier fighters until they make it to the top. Just look at Amir khan and Pacquaio. You guys need to think outside the box for a while. Everything is not dry cut and pace. I see nothing negative from this kid. Its amazing so many of you claim to know boxing but cant see and notice a star in the making.

Yes, with the track I see Jr on, I would pick him to beat the **** out of Alverez within the next 2 years. I said that because Alverez is as far as hes gonna go right now. There are no hidden tricks nothing else he can do that he is not already doing. Jr is still maturing, growing and learning. He has alot of advantages that Alverez could never have due to genitics, you know DNA. When they fight remember I said it first. Jr will stop Alverez. Laugh now but cry later!!

I thought he showed some growth too. I don't remember him having that kind of zip or being that crisp with his punches. I hate to say it but he looked like he had some pop.

Here is the whole fight. Watch closely for the left hook to the body by Jr. His spacing was key also. Having the right distance allowed him to catch Manfready on the end of his punches, thats where the power is at. His jab was also hard and snapping. Look at Manfreadys head snap after each landed jab. Also look how Jr set up that big right hand at the end. He made Manfready walk right into it. Hes getting better yall!!
