    Great Fight!!!

Vazquez has much a chance to win as Donaire.....thought the Filipino is more dangerous, he does not edge the Puertorrrican in experience....There are both fast and have power...it wil be exciting-!!! I would rather see Vazquez try to beat Arce in a second fight!!!

This is simply not true. If anything that is where Donaire has most of the edge. You must remember that Vasquez Jr, basically picked up boxing when he was 21. He has absolutely no amateur experience, so he technically has only been in boxing for 5 years. He is still very green.
Donaire on the other hand had an outstanding Amateur career wining numerous awards.
So yeah I would say he edges Vasquez in experience.

Yeah, if you think about it, when Donaire demolished Darchinyan, Vasquez was on like his fifth professional fight.

              Are they cashing Vasquez out?

You have to ask if they're truly cashing Vasquez out here, because this fight is all wrong for this young kid.

I like Vasquez Jr. The kid has a lot of heart, he speaks well, is a classy guy, and has shown a lot of promise for a kid who only picked up this sport 5 years ago. But having said that, 5 years still makes you very green. As much as a gym rat that he is 23 total fights in your career does not make you ready for guys who had about 70 amateur fights and about 30 professional fights. With world class competition in those 30 fights.

I know Bob knows how to handle guys with no amateur experience and popularity so I am truly wondering why they're doing this fight. Has Bob Arum realized this is it for this kid? Or is he just not that popular that they feel they won't be able to build him up anymore?

Wow! If this is true, I'm impressed. It's quite a feat for a guy to do as well as Vazquez has with only 5 years and 23 professional fights!

Possibly...but what other name fighter at 122 fits into Donaire's schedule? I don't know what's up with Nishioka, but Arce, Ramos and Rigondeaux won't be available to fight Nonito soon enough.

Too bad Poonsawat and Donaire can't get it on.

Yeah I agree I don't like the idea of Vazquez fighting Donaire this early in his career I think Donaire beats Arce if they fight down the line I think he will beat Vazquez as well it will hurt Vazquez to have 2 LLs on his record I really like This Vazquez kid but right now they are using him as a stepping stone.
