Mexican crowd went wild for Martinez, but stayed silent for Canelo

Anyone else find that odd? When Max mentioned Martinez, the crowd went into a frenzy. When Max mentioned Canelo, it went silent.

I couldn't tell if they were cheering or groaning though.

Chavez has such a size advantage over Canelo that it would stack the deck against him too much
Anyway Sergio is the fight at MW right now that needs to happen Sergio wants a payday and Chavez needs a real opponent.

i noticed that as well during the broadcast. Didn't think anyone would have really noticed let alone make a thread on it. Good catch.

because the pro-mexican crowd likes canelo too.

and they know chavez jr. would fuck him up.

                Canelo beats Chavez Jr.

                Sergio kills him.

It doesn't sound like enthusiastic or positive cheering to me. I'm not sure, I can't tell exactly what it meant. And about Canelo it is probably he is mexican too and some might not want to see it or the fans on Chavez' side opposed to Alvarez' side, they might be sick of hearing about that matchup. Interesting catch on this...
