well that was fun! thanks for the memories and the great career montiel! not quite hall of fame, but definitely a very talented, world class fighter who made his way into the pound for pound rankings. . . maybe it's way too early, but if a guy with the skillset of montiel loses to a journeyman type fighter, it's usually a strong indication.

terrazas is nothing special he is very hittable and he can be koed, a good boxer would dismantle him. Montiel prob thought he could outbox since he is so hittable but he just didnt have the reach to do it
When Montiel went all out in the 12th he hurt him bad, IMO Montiel woulda had a better career as a brawler all his recent big wins like hasegawa or castillo had been quick kos
