Boxing Fans [Nuthuggers] Need a Reality Check

There is something about boxing fans. I mean I was watching the DLH-Mosley I with a group of friends. What worried me was after the fight was this one 22 year old man who was crying. Crying.

Another fight I went to at a friends house, had a Rican friend singing Puerto Rico's national anthem, standing up with his right hand on his chest. No lie there. The guy was serious. It was like he was trying to give Tito his support some 700 miles away from Las Vegas.

I will never cry for somebody as rich as DLH or any fighter for that matter.

Also, so many people are so enamored with their favorite fighter. I dont know how many Klit fan has posted on here extolling the virtues of being a Klit fan. How the Klit brothers helped Ukraine in the Orange Revolution (note: Vitali was born in Belovodsk, Kyrgyzstan, NOT Ukraine).

My point is, liking somebody for their lives outside of the ring shouldnt make you a boxing fan of theirs. I dont like any of the stuff Tyson does outside the ring. I just like Tyson the boxer and when he's in character giving the interviews.

My favorite boxer is Floyd Mayweather. But I know, if I knew him in real life, I'd probably hate his guts. Very arrogant. But nuthuggers, like every aspect of their favorite fighters. I just think it's a little odd...

My favorite fighter deserves the respect and love he gets from his fans....he does his job right and he is a class act in and out of the ring.
