so I posted a list of fighters that would go backwards or dance when needed.

the point being you don't have to go forward or be aggressive to be great. No one is saying aggressive fighters are one dimensional.
C'mon carnal, you know damn well that there is a huge negative view of come forward fighters on this site... Why do you think Mayweather is the favorite on every single fantasy fight thread.

People need to realise that without PAC even existing, some of the greatest fighters that ever lived were come forward ONLY type fighters. Its not because they couldnt backpeddle its because they simply didnt have to. Some ATGs actually liked going toe to toe and liked getting hit.

This "science" is just something backpeddlers use as a crutch because their opponent is either stronger than them or has a much heavier punch.

Only to weaken opponents early on, if you view his fights he eventually comes forward.

Pacquiao got Exposed for the One Dimensional so called "Masterful Boxer" he was or at least they made it seem like that, When in reality all of the true boxing fans knew he wasnt how they made him seem to be

this only makes team pac look bad. they can only beat a certain type of fighter and if their gameplan is off then they have no plan b. so yea, i wouldnt go around advertising that.

I thought Marquez was a true Mexican warrior, was going to come and do exactly what he said and try to make sure it didn't go in the hands of judges, but he didn't. He let it go to the hands of the judges...you can't keep going backwards. Even though you're counterpunching beautifully and you're sticking to your game plan, this is a championship fight, man. This is a fight that had two controversial endings...Marquez played it safe and didn't want to take any risks. A true Mexican warrior big shot that he is and that he claims to be...What happened to all that blood, life, glory and all that other stuff that he said on 24/7? I thought he was going to leave it all in the ring, not play it safe. I never heard 'play it safe' ever come into play," stated world-class strength-and-conditioning coach Alex Ariza, who shared his thoughts on the outcome of last Saturday's fight, the performances of both Pacquiao and Marquez, their future plans and much more. Check it out!

Well Marquez "went for it" more often than Pacquiao did.

Damn it Ariza. You M@theruckers had all the advantages in the world, and you still open your big mouth hoping to land an excuse?. just lol

Might as well get Pacquiao and Marquez drunk and have a brawl, its called boxing for a reason. Ariza is in the wrong sport. lol

You dumb asses fell for the bull**** he was spewing that he was gonna come and go for the KO, and you dummies fell for it. How dumb are you guys that you didnt have a back up plan. Your only thought was you guys were going to get in their a knock him out. LOL

All freddie was telling him was "I need you to put him on his ass son" and "where behind I need you to put him on his ass son"

freaking best trainer in the game right now (supposedly) and thats all he says. How about Marquez is only cricling to your right, take a step to the right and whack him. cut off the ring.

but no that too much to ask, Manny opponents have to be still, they cannot box because then all of a sudden manny doesn't look that great and Oh no it not manny or team pacquaio fault its the other guy fault cause he not a "warrior" "he did not come to fight" LOL how pathetic these people have become with every new interview im loosing respect for team pacquaio
I have lost a lot of respect for them. Ariza and Freddie talk with an arrogance that causes me to view them different now. Not only has Manny been overly hyped as a fighter, but Freddie too as a trainer.Bob Arum is the mastermind behind Manny's career and he's done a great job in putting the right opponents in front of him to make Manny look unbeatable. Arum thought that Marquez was finished as a top fighter. That's why he made the fight. All of them started believing their own hype. They forgot WHY Manny was winning so convincingly. It doesn't take a great all time great to beat Manny, it simply takes a good sound technical boxer with quick hands and a good chin to beat him. That's why the rumor was always that Manny avoided slick African American fighters. That's not really the case. He just avoids boxers that do exactly that...BOX! Arum understands fully what type of fighter he has and he understands what type of fighters will give him fits.So he avoids it. They just thought Marquez was washed up. Ariza sounds ignorant making those comments. They're in the business of hit and not get hit, not being a warrior. Maybe they should try the UFC!!!
