I don't really know where this has sprung up from but If it does happen there is no way that Guerrero is beating Mayweather, I don't there there even needs to be an explanation.

Would Floyd fight somewhere else other than Vegas for this fight ?

bold is what I want to know. Any more news on Floyd potentially fighting in February?

as vs Guerrero in May wouldn't be the "big fight" all the fans had hoped for.

**and if Floyd does take a tune up type fight in February, regardless of location be it Las Vegas or Mexico

I'd like to see it be on basic cable (ABC/NBC) for 2 reasons ... #1 a tune up type fight wouldn't be PPV worthy (aired on HBO but look at De La Hoya vs Forbes) especially at $65 or what ever the PPV retail is

and #2. Floyd fighting on network cable would be great promotion to whoever he is fighting in May

IF this fight were to go down, I think Floyd frustrates Robert and wins a wide UD. Robert has been fighting guys who are there to be hit.

Fighting Robert Guerrero is as disappointing as fighting Erik Morales. Both guys are good but they are not credible Welterweights. I don't even know if they would be as good as they are at that weight, I highly doubt it.

Maybe a explanation like this should have been put in the article, or something pointing out that this is from Guerrero's publicist would have helped stop all the confusion.

Guerrero gets dominated. Mayweather isn't suddenly becoming ******. If he is circulating these rumours (likely) then he has seen flaws in Guerrero to exploit, which I think he will.
With Pacquiao having only narrowly beaten a lightweight rising in weight this will vindicate Floyds decision.
