IBF and WBA light welterweight champion Amir Khan will be fighting Lamont Peterson on December 10th but it looks like this may be his last fight at 140lbs. Khan says he’s willing to stay at 140 for the right fight but he doesn’t believe it will ever come.

WTF? If he was just in it for the payday then he would fight Mathew Hatton or another well known bum. Senchenko is not an easy fight and it would be a long night for Khan. He clearly wants to get a title before he gets it on with Mayweather and this is probably the best route.

But I thought Kell Brook was going to fight Senchenko?

I think he is fully focused on Peterson, but he constantly gets questions about his future. I would rather he answered them. Giving a boring answer like "I am only focused on Peterson", when we know full well that all fighters discuss different routes and options all the time with their promoters. He is one of the few fighters at the top level who actually give you answers.
