Nacho is full of **** because there has been NO financial offer from Top Rank or Arum and they probably won't go any higher than 8 million with a PPV percentage where Marquez is likely going to make an additional 3-5. Maybe Nacho misunderstood and they are willing to package 25 million but the bulk of that would go to Pacquiao.

$25 million is around Pacquiao's recent guarantee. If they're serious about that, Marquez's team don't want to go to war a fourth time. Marquez don't want to risk looking any worse, especially when demanding to fight in Mexico of all places. Move on to Mayweather. Beating Mayweather at this point is like beating Mayweather and Marquez on the same night. A fourth fight is not needed with demands like those.

Okay, that's good to know. That's why I asked. I was thinking BoxingScene had his own reporter in Mexico and might have heard something different from Nacho than what that other reporter heard who wrote that Spanish article. I thought one of the reporters might have misheard Nacho and got it wrong. I just wanted clarification.

If this is the case, then your article is highly misleading. You should have included that Nacho claimed that HBO and Top rank are offering him 25 million. If you think he's lying, fine. But you still twisted his words into something completely different than what he actually said based on your assumption that Nacho is a liar. You're making it sound as if Nacho is pricing himself out, which isn't correct if Nacho did in fact misunderstood what HBO and Top Rank told him. Or maybe he's actually telling the truth. Did you verify with Top Rank and HBO before writing the article? Those things would have been good to know in the article.

Either way, you should have still reported what Nacho actually said instead of misconstruing his words. And if you want to add to the article that you think he's lying, that's great, but let the readers decide.
