Call the airline and see. I changed dates on this Vegas trip 2 years ago, I paid a little extra but I didn't lose all. Its worth a shot instead of getting nothing.

Depends if you got trip and ticket insurances, which is highly unlikely since nobody gets it. But if you did you would get refunded

It could be a landmark case if enough of you all got together. I know that Top Rank can say they are not responsible for peoples' extreme travel arrangements, but then again, their ineptitude and un-professionalism has caused the cancellation.

It's not the commission's fault. Even if they screwed around with a decision. As far as I'm aware, they never gave a verdict to Top Rank, approving the bout, so they are not liable.

If it were an 'Act of God', like a hurricane that cancelled the event, then I could understand no refunds etc.

I don't know. Not a lawyer. Just thinking about what is fair. But this world doesn't operate on fairness.
