This is a fight i wouldnt bet on.

I got Ward winning a very close fight. He will win more rounds, but Froch will make a bigger dent in the rounds he win. It will go 12 rounds.

I like Froch, but one of the things he does that really annoys me is he resets every time someone comes at him with a combo. He even did it on the pads then with McCraken.

He tends to back peddle, cover up and wait for the combo to finish and reset to come again, he doesn't fire counters of any kind, if he developed a bit more of a counter punching game then he would be a little more explosive and much more dangerous because he does have power - there's nothing like a hard hook or uppercut to stop someone in their tracks as they're shooting a combo.

i have grown into a big big carl froch fan! He proved me many times wrong! i thought he would loose against abraham and dirrell! If you look at him the first time you think he isnt very skilled but just a tough guy! But in reality he is very skilled and finds ways to victory even if fights are not going his way!
if andre ward is not on his game that night i am confident froch can expose him

yeah its going the full 12 unless Wards cut gets re-opened (via accidental head clash or by a punch).

I think thats Frochs best chance of winning, hope that the scar tissue isnt 100% and re-open it, its in a bad place and the fight could get stopped because of it.

However more likely if it does gets re-opened its by a head clash so Froch needs to get early rds in the bank before Ward fully adjusts to him and maybe get a TD.

If it goes the full 12 i cant see anything other than a Ward comfortable decision.

he's starting to get better. . . he countered kessler with some right hands, and he really fired back at glen johnson right when glen cracked him upside the head with that right hand. . .

carl is one of the few boxers who has noticeably gotten smarter. . . he definitely has been "reading and reacting' more and more. . .

i favor ward, but i want froch to win. . . froch/bute and froch kessler are so much more exciting matchups
