Unless Rios goes to the body I have Maidana taking this.

Maidana would be the naturally stronger man coming into this fight.

That being said, Rios coming up in weight might be really good for his stamina/conditioning.

My word, what a fight. This would be like Kirkland v Angulo - it just can't fail. In fact, I'd rate it even higher on the certain-to-be-a-classic scale. This is the kind of fights boxing needs to make, rather than obsess over "event" fights.

damn, this is crazy. first it was donaire/gamboa, then it was gamboa/rios, and now rios/maidana, haha. i know rios/maidana was brought up before a lot though, it would be a great fight. i honestly want to see ortiz/maidana II before that though.

Rios is not yet a name that big, but he's getting there. Hope he gets a big name fight next.

I assume it'll be at 140. I don't think maidana will be willing to drain himself to 135 to fight rios especially since it's rios calling out maidana i think.
