So what is the criteria for a Challenger to win a fight besides getting a KO of course?
Let me get this right a Challenger in order to take the belt has to dominate every round to become the new Champion?
I'm just asking because I keep seeing post about JMM maybe landing eye pleasing punches and doing good but if the round is close it should automatically go to the champion.
Where is that in the rule book that the champion should get extra consideration simply for being the champ?
It just sounds like to me that it becomes more of a popularity contest when you do it like that.
Fights should be judged on who controls the fight, and lands the crisper punches, with better impact, greater effectiveness, and greater quantity.
