Juan Carlos Burgos recently appeared on The Boxing Lab, BoxingScene.com's official audio show. The Mexican spoke about his victory on Saturday over the previously undefeated Luis Cruz of Puerto Rico which took place in the super featherweight division. Burgos was able to upset Cruz by continually landing hid left hook and withstood a late charge by the Puerto Rican.

i dont think he beats gamboa,beside gamboa has been saying he wants to go to 135 and fight rios so i doubt he'll fight him,i think he should face mikey garcia but then again garcia is long over due for a shot at the title,he would make a good fight against winner of lopez/salido rematch,he has a better shot at beating these guys than gamboa
