Ok I understand now, Floyd have doubt of beating PAC. Why can't u just admit that? Cause he didint but i can see you still having problems accepting it was a gift decision. A gift decision to fight Mayweather not a rematch. But you so strongly think he won so why a 4th fight? Why not mayweather?

Actually a good post. And it cost Marquez a best ever (then) purse of $750,000, which he exchanged for a $32,500 purse with Chris John, to find out. An expensive lesson I think. As I recall, he has always been very inclined to follow Beristain's instructions, and it was he who advised him to demand $1.5 mill. I remember at the time all the press and commentators blamed Beristain for being too greedy. Marquez too of course.

Still is=t was a good if not great fight, spoiled for the masses because the fireworks and KO that MannyP's handlers promised did not occur and Pacquaio was visibly dejected going back to his corner after the 12th rd. Not because he'd lost, but because he had let down his fans, who are always the first thoughts on his lips.

That's why he want's a 4th fight, to try again for a the spectacular KO.

It was a close fight that could have gone either way. If Marquez won that fight, you won't hear me scream robbery. I make fun of the foot stomping, but I don't cry about it. I make fun of the piss drinking during the fight, but I don't make a big deal about it. Don't blame me just because your expectations were over the top like the media.

Mayweather should be next, but it looks like he had other plans. First, Mayweather told WSJ he didn't know Pacquiao was his opponent for May 5th, before Pacquiao-Marquez III happened. Second, you don't see Mayweather anywhere protesting a fourth fight between Pacquiao and Marquez. Third, you don't see Mayweather responding to Pacquiao calling him out in front of the millions watching the post-fight interview.

So what does Mayweather do? He is letting Ellerbe and Golden Girl convince the public it is Arum's fault, when Arum's on record saying no decision has been made yet, so Mayweather can be a happy duck and quack another lesser opponent.
