That was probably the 1st time you've seen him fight. WTF are you going to know about Cruz? He is a much better fighter than he showed that night. When he gets more experience I'm sure if there is a rematch down the road he'll beat Burgos.

Cruz had to take the drug test before the fight and he couldn't pee until almost fight time. So he wasn't able to warm up properly and he said was rushed into the ring.

But think whatever you want, time will give show that Cruz is the more talented fighter as their careers develop.

Once again, PR fans have 5 excuses written down on paper before the start of round one just in case their fighter loses. What a pathetic bunch of fans that can't handle their precious little countryman losing.

Dang. Is there education where you're from?

Fact is Burgos beat Cruz. Nothing else to it. Don't have to say that Cruz was hyped, and don't have to say that Cruz would "beat him down the road".

              Burgos>Cruz. End of discussion.

I took one look at the weigh in, the record, and immediately felt Cruz was going to lose.

He didn't have the experience to fight a live, strong, taller fighter with more pro experience in the hotbed of boxing.

It felt like Salido vs Lopez all over again.

I've seen him live a few times and he gets clocked, alot. He gets comfortable and lets fights get closer than they should be. seen him in trouble too. Burgos was the better fighter that night. Cruz needs to step up his D, he thinks he's Roy Jones with this hands by his side.

Good win for Burgos but Cruz would beat him if they meet down the road, he just didn't throw enough punches in the early rounds. It was a closer fight than what the judges ruled, Burgos just threw combinations to try and impress the judges but only a few left hooks landed. If Cruz had thrown more punches he'd won the fight.
If they fight again in a few months Cruz beats my Mexican bro. I like Cruz but I was rooting for my Mexican bro-- that being said, Cruz showed he was the better fighter in the second half of the fight.
