I guess what I'm saying is if you are going to use that arguement then fine be it. But all he needed to win was to use was his jab and left hand to win.

for me the best punch of the whole fight was the giant left hand pacquiao landed right at the end of the 9th round. if jmm was not near the ropes i think he would have gone down from that.

some other poster here read an article where jmm said he almost wentt down early in the fight. thats probably the point where he decided he wasnt going to dare to try ko pacman, instead just try to counterpunch him and lose for the 3rd time.

Now we have to watch the fight in slow motion, deduct points for JMM "foot stopping trick", and take account for Manni's leg cramps.

I guess you can say this is how God treats those who think they are higher than him (Ariza).

After watching it in slow motion, you guys probably thought Ortiz was beating Mayweather at the time of the stoppage.

You guys and this slow motion stuff. Give it a break. Marquez beat pac fair and square in a fight where the deck of cards (no OSDT, Catchweight, judges) were rigged for Pac to win. Just accept it.

Personally, I thought the fight stunk from the time it was made. Especially considering the conditions of the fight. I didn't think Marquez had a chance and neither did Roach and Arum. Arum, Roach, Khan and myself know Marquez won the fight, now what's taking you guys so long to understand that? Let me guess, slow motion right.

            @55 right hook pac

during fight night i score the fight 7-5 for pac

then watched it in slow mo tonight coz i had time

seriously changed my view of this fight

i got jmm best rounds was 2 and 5
he was hitting pac's gloves with his jabs im not even sure how the compubox found a jab of jmm that landed :/
and most of his punch gets block by pac's arms and gloves
and the few that went through was worthy of a highlight
i actually believe the only punches that jmm landed was all in the highlight lol
and some body shots by the way :///

sometimes people gets to say woooow on the few punches that they havent seen for a while landing on pac, rather than appreciating alot of pac's punches landing on his opponents

lets just say they are used to pac hitting his opponents lol

watch this fight in a slow mo and you'll start seeing how nice pac's right hook was catching JMM and straight lefts
I agree with you and I did not even watch it in slow mo. It takes a good eye to see all the hits that PAC landed on JMM. All my friends calling a texting me it was a robbery but no it was not. I gave it to pac 8 rnds to 6. If any one is to blame is JMM corner. JMM was not taking more risks because Nacho and company kept telling him he was winning. JMM has tools but he needed to take more risk if he wants to beat PAC.

I'm setting this rule right now.

From now on, boxingscene WILL NOT declare a winner of any fight until AFTER the fight is seen by all in slow motion.

It doesn't have to be seen in slow mo if your eyes are good enough. However, some may chose to spot things they may have missed. Nothing wrong with that, especially if you are using it to back up why you gave a certain fighter a round.

You guys cry that Pacquiao fans aren't fans of the sport and can't engage in intelligent boxing discussion. They when they do, you result to trolling.

D@mn you took the words right outta my mouth. I also stated this and made a thread right after the fight (that was conveniently deleted by the mods)

There was no robbery and Manny won that fight by two rounds.....helped by JMM giving up the championship rounds.

Hey guys, I'm re-watching Froch vs Johnson in slow motion.

Stand-by so I can tell you who the TRUE winner of the fight was.

i watched a really biased broadcast live so i thought it was either going to be a draw or a narrow jmm win..

my first rewatch though, i tried scoring it, and i had pacquiao winning at least 7..

thenn watchign it again in slow motion only helped me to justify what i saw the 2nd time; and slow motion also changed my score to 8-4, possibly 9-3. [for pac ofc]

all these people still whining about it either:

                      a) are afraid to watch it again out of fear they will see a clear pacquiao win

                      b) have watched it, seen that pacquiao won, but just aren't willing to admit it.

the judges did a good job of not letting the biased fans sway their opinion.
